Canterbury City held their first ever Saturday Soccer Club at Aylesham Leisure Welfare Club this week. First Team manager Paul Murray delivered the session aided by Goalkeeping coach Ada Gower and First Team regular Macauley Murray. At the Canterbury City Council Executive Meeting on Thursday 2nd February 2012 the Executive voted to proceed to a full planning application for the Clubs new home ground at Ridlands Farm in South Canterbury.
