Canterbury City Reserves play a very large part in the club and the first teams development. Managed by Kerry Harris, he gets to see the young talent coming through the club. All new players get to spend a couple of weeks or so with the reserves to see if they are good enough to pass on to the first team.

Playing in the Kent County Reserve League for their second season, they have had great success already. Last season the team came runners up in the league and are looking good to go one better this season.

It’s well known in football, that the worst job has to be the reserve team manager. You never know what team you are playing until 12.00pm on a Saturday. That is where the strength of the club and the players they have means that there will always be 14-16 players that Kerry can call upon to play a good game and be competitive.
