Canterbury City Football Club Women's 1st Team are inviting players who are 16 or over to join our promising young squad. Some previous experience would be preferred. Award for Reserves- 01/06/2010
Bob Vidler along with Chairman Tim Clark attended The KCFA Annual Presentation Dinner held at Hollingbourne, Maidstone on Saturday 29th May to collect the Reserve Team's Runners Up award for Reserve Division (East). Well done to Bob, Ada Gower and all the Reserve Team.
Under 13 trials underway- 23/05/2010
Trials have begun for next season's Under 13 team. Any young players interested in playing for City should attend the next trials which are at the Whitstable Community College on Tuesday (6pm).

Dave Fairclough finished the London Marathon in 5 hrs 45 mins.He came 34,371 out of 51,500 completing competitors. A great achievement considering one of his knees has no cartilage left. Bob Vidler in big cycle charity event- 11/03/2010
Bob Vidler will be cycling the 172 miles from Salisbury to Canterbury in support of the Lady Mayoress' Charity, which includes raising funds for the Cathedral Restoration Fund. Award for Matt Clark- 05/03/2010
Matt Clark, coach to the club's Learning Disabilities group, and Kirsty Wickenden have won the NHS Delivering Excellence in Partnership category of the Staff Achievement and Recognition Scheme (STARS). The awards are open to NHS Eastern and Coastal Kent and Communities Services staff. Matt said CCFC was discussed "in extremely high regard".

The First team match against Hollands & Blair was postponed, as were all of the other games in the KCFL Premier Division. The Reserves game against Staplehurst and Monarchs was another victim of the weather. All other City matches were called off.

Big win for Reserves. City Women out of Cup- 14/11/2009
In spite of the weather, Larkfield and New Hythe v City Reserves went ahead, with City winning 4-0. Click here City's Women were knocked out of the County Cup by Anchorians. The 3-1 defeat was not a true reflection of their spirited performance
Under 13s match abandoned- 08/11/2009
Because of a serious ankle injury to one of the Hollands and Blair players, City's Under 13s match was abandoned when they were leading 2-1. We have since heard that the injury was not the broken ankle that had been feared but ligament damage. We wish the young player a speedy recovery. The match will be replayed.
