Girls' U-15s fight back but drop out (March 02, 2008) Whitstable U-15 girls 4 City U-15 girls 3
City found themselves 4-1 down by half-time after spurning a couple of good chances. Emma Fagg put herself on the scoresheet and did some fine work down the left.
City pulled a couple of goals back in the second half and pressed Whitstable all the way, with Eve Chappell scoring twice, the second coming from a magnificent lob.
The defence remained solid and the forwards played some good football, with Holly Castle and Kate Cronin Wilson linking up to form a good partnership up front. However, Whitstable now progress to the next round of the cup. They awarded Eve Chappell Player of the Match. Click here to return to the News page
