Cup final up-date (May 01, 2008) City manager Dave Fairclough will not finalise his team for Saturday's Kent Junior Cup (Group A) final against Holmesdale Reserves until the morning of the game but he is anticipating that several suffering from bumps and bruises will be ready for selection.
The only players who are definitely unavailable are the suspended Wayne Fittall and Dave Reed who is cup tied, having appeared for Faversham in the Umbro Kent Senior Trophy.
Fairclough thinks that Holmesdale will begin as slight favourties but he is encouraged by the fact that, like City, they like to keep the ball on the ground and that the playing surface at the Corinthian Ground is one of the best in Kent. Click here to return to the News page
