The club has today notified both the Kent County Football Association and the Vandanel Kent County Football League that due to an administrative error, Wayne Fittall appeared as a playing substitute for the club in a league fixture against Bly Spartans whilst under an extended suspension.

Wayne's suspension relates to additional charges made against him following his dismissal last season whilst playing for Waterfront FC. Although not involving Canterbury City FC in any way, the club accepts that the extension to his original suspension should have been picked up. Sadly this was not the case and the club has also written to Bly Spartans to apologise for this error.

The club has made full disclosures to both the KCFA and the Vandanel Kent County Football League and await any charge that might follow.
