City Deliver Another Double Double

The club's Learning Disability Team enjoyed another successful morning as they achieved a rare double-double by winning both sections of the Ashford Indoor Festival for the second year running.

Having secured a final berth without conceding a single goal, the First Team beat a strong Ashford Town in a highly charged final, the winning goal coming late in the game from Nathan Eastwood.

The Second Team were also unbeaten in the qualifying rounds and won an equally competitive final 3-0 against Elms Vale Raiders.
The tournament was an ideal warm-up for the next round of the Kent Disability Games which takes place at Whitstable Community College on Sunday November 22. City are currently sitting at the top of the Championship League.
