Played for Deal town and Walmer Rovers before finally retiring at 32 when he moved into management with Walmer who had a string of successes in the league and cup. He became involved in the development of the youth teams and now at Canterbury looks forward to bridging the gap between that age and senior football. When work took him to South Africa he managed an Expats team that included several former professionals. On returning he helped re-form the Betteshanger club and again worked with the young players as well as the Reserve side.

  
Gary Beckett – First Team Assistant Manager
Managed successful Sunday League side AFC Ramsgate to numerous local honours. Level 2 Coach

Steve Woollcott – First Team Coach/Under-16 Team Manager
Steve has managed youth teams in the city for many years and recently received his UEFA B Licence Coaching qualification. Led the Canterbury City Youth FC Under-15s to a Kent League and Cup double last season.

Lorna Shilling – Ladies’ Team Manager
An experienced player having played extensively at home and in Germany. Managed the successful Whitstable Town Ladies’ side, winning a number of trophies at Belmont. Level 1 coach.

Bob Vidler – Club Coach
Managed Thanington FC U18s to a league and cup double last season and is currently that club’s chairman

Ade Gower - Goalkeeper Coach

One of East Kent's most experienced 'keepers. He has played for Whitstable Town, Herne Bay, Faversham, Broomfield and Tyler Hill. This season he has made regular appearances for City's Reserves

Ian Westgarth – Under-18 Team Manager
Level 1 coach, joined the club from Canterbury City Youth FC

Paul Mankelow – Under-18 Team Coach
Level 2 coach – many years experience in youth football having joined the club from Canterbury City Youth FC.

Graham Scudder

Joined the club in summer 2007 bringing with him many years experience in youth football.

Mat Keyte – Under-15 Team Manager
An experienced youth coach who has recently attended his Level 2 coaching course.

Dave Button – Under-15 Coach
Joined the club from Kennington Youth FC. Highly experienced Level 1 coach and registered referee.

Mick Santer – Under 15 Girls’ Manager
Won league championship as manager of Canterbury City Youth FC U-16s last season. Qualified referee and level 2 coach.

Kylie Farrer – Girls’ Coach
Popular sports teacher at Canterbury High School. Experienced coach.
